The first incident involved a 48-year-old from Warsaw, who claimed his luggage contained a bomb before his flight to Heraklion on the Greek island of Crete.
An hour and a half later, a 55-year-old from Białobrzegi county, south of Warsaw, made a similar joke while checking in for a flight to Tunisia.
Border guards conducted bomb detection checks on the luggage, finding no threats.
Both men were removed from the passenger manifests and fined, Polish state news agency PAP reported, citing Dagmara Bielec, a spokeswoman for border guards.
